How long will my wood slices last and can I reuse them for home decor or events in the future?
Our wood slices are cut and processed to last. You can absolutely reuse them for future events or as rustic home decor. Please note that our treated wood slices will last longer than those without treatment.
How long before my wedding/event should I place my order?
Our wood slices are meticulously cut with professional machinery. This means they won't crack or split over time. Knowing this, you can order as early as you like and your Rustic Wood Slices will be ready to use when the time comes.
Another company sent me smaller wood slices than they advertised and they will not work for my decor. Will my wood slices be smaller than the size shown in the description?
Most certainly not. If you choose 12" wood slices, we always try to be as close to that size as possible. Unfortunately, a lot of companies skimp and advertise wood round that are 9"-11." Too often these companies fill the order with the smaller sizes because they are easier to cut and cheaper to ship. At Rustic Wood Slices, we definitely don’t play that game.
Do you use any Oak, Hickory, or other hardwood trees for your slices?
We don’t use hardwoods because they often split and lose their bark during the drying process. We only use softer woods that dry easily and hold their original, rustic appearance over time!
Can I place a custom order?
Absolutely! Send us a message with your order specifications and we will help make your vision a reality.
